Emmie Woody is the Concierge Director for The Market at Grelen in Somerset, Va. In this role, she manages Grelen's two rental homes (Boxwood Villa & Spotswood Lodge) as well as the wine program and internal events. She has been with the company for 5 years and is well versed in all aspects of The Market at Grelen.

Emmie is all about the local scene and supporting small business. She has also worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years. Throughout that time she has held every front of house position in the restaurant and hotel industry. Emmie has made it her goal and mission to anticipate guest needs, create a relaxing and welcoming environment and make guests feel at home and well cared for. In addition to being hospitable, Emmie has a passion for wine. Throughout her time in the restaurant industry she took the opportunity to study and learn about the various wine regions around the world, with a focus on French and California wines. With that background, Emmie is able to find the best of the best coming out of Virginia, while highlighting a variety of interesting wineries, breweries, and cideries. |
